Hi everyone, I'm 21 and 2 months back I weighed 190 pounds. Now I'm at 165 and really pleased about it! I've still got roughly 20 pounds to go before hitting my target, but honestly Reta has made the whole process feel effortless. My dosing went like this: 2mg for the first 2 weeks, then 3mg, and from then on I've taken 4mg each week. That said, I have run into side effects. For the first few days after injecting, nausea comes on quite easily, though drinking more than a gallon of water every day keeps it in check. I also get some heartburn, so I take Omeprazole for 2 days after my shot, which does the trick.

All in all, I've been really pleased with how things have gone and I'm very thankful for peptides!

I began at 2mg as well, am around the same age, and weighed slightly less — not by much. I dropped a comparable amount, but I intend to titrate off for a while since I'm dealing with significant dryness, and I've noticed that staying hydrated can be difficult.

Nice work on dropping the weight. From what I understand, those side effects are typical. Once your body adjusts to the injections, they should fade. That adjustment period can last a few months.

Nice work on the progress! That’s genuinely impressive! Going from 190 down to 165 in two months is a big deal, and it sounds like you’ve figured out a routine that fits you well.

Beyond the nausea and heartburn you brought up, have any other side effects shown up that you weren’t expecting? Also, I’m curious what time of day you typically inject.

Back when I was on semaglutide, I noticed that pinning at night made a real difference, since I could sleep through the worst of the nausea and headaches that tend to show up in the first several hours after a dose. I don’t know if Reta behaves the same way, but if the symptoms are still nagging you, it could be worth testing out.

Once I titrate up to a real dose of Reta, I’m hoping for results like yours. Seeing your progress is really motivating! Tweaking when you inject might also help take the edge off those side effects.

Let us know how it goes!
