Hi everyone! Appreciate the welcome. I'm a 32 year old guy living in the uk. Retatrutide was my starting point 1 month ago, and so far ive dropped 21lbs! My starting weight was 18 stone, and im now at 16 stone 6 lbs. The weightloss has slowed down a little bit but im definitely not gaining.

Now that ive got the peptide bug, im looking to add a little something else to help with the weightloss.

HGH is something im strongly considering 🤔

Whats everyone's thoughts and suggestions?

Thankyou! 😊

Since I've never combined those 2, I honestly can't give a definitive answer — though years back I did do HGH cycles that were lower dosed and stretched out longer, around the 6 month mark. It genuinely felt like magic fairy dust. Fat loss wasn't really what stood out to me; instead the effects on my hair, nails and skin were unbelievable — I was practically glowing. This was during my late 30s into early 40s, and I'm fairly certain testosterone was part of the picture then too.

That said, HGH has one notable drawback: it usually ramps up appetite. So pairing it with Reta, which could cancel out that hunger effect, looks like it would work well together. HGH is excellent at pushing the protein you consume into muscle and bone, while also liberating stored fat through lipolysis. On top of that, it acts as an insulin antagonist.

In short, the 2 ought to complement each other nicely — each one covers the other's downside, and they stack benefits in the areas you're targeting.

From my own experience, 2IU of the genuine stuff delivered great results. Bumping to 4iu might be even better if kept to a set window like 90 days — but beyond that point (bodybuilders and similar folks go as high as 10iu daily), joint pain started creeping in for me.

As far as bang for your buck, 2iu per day was the sweet spot in my case. And honestly, just thinking about it now lol — I'd probably run that forever

wow! 21lbs in 1 month. What is you dosage?

Thanks a ton of weight is just 4 weeks.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the weight loss.

Began at 2mg. Around 7 days in, bumped to 3mg. A week after that, moved to 4mg. Currently at 6mg. Yeah, I realize that was a super fast ramp lol. Any thoughts on throwing in the hgh?

That's amazing, well done! Dropping 21lbs within 1 month is insane — you must feel completely transformed.

What are you aiming for? Also, welcome aboard!

Thanks! I'm doing well, though there's still plenty left to lose. At 5"6, I figure 14 stone would be a good target. Maybe dropping even more would be great 🙂

Dropping 21lbs (9.5kg) within a single month — that's over 2kg each week — is quicker than ideal (though roughly 3kg of that is likely just water). Preserving muscle matters, so you don't want to shed it.

What I'd suggest: don't let your food intake drop too low! Protein in particular. Whether you're on Reta or any other GLP, your metabolism will eventually adjust to fewer calories and slow itself down. Keeping that engine humming along is the key.

On top of that, work some weightlifting into your routine so you hold onto — or build — muscle mass.

Appreciate the guidance. Yeah, early on I under-ate and ended up with serious fatigue. Once I switched back to 3 meals per day plus plenty of protein, my energy came back. Any thoughts on the hgh?

Really appreciate the detailed answer! You've definitely sold me on taking it.

Thanks a lot for the very informative reply! You've absolutely convinced me to go ahead and take it 😊

Since you're 32, my suggestion is to delay HGH for as long as possible. Before you go the HGH route, I'd give these a shot:

CJC1295 Without DAC + Ipamorelin

Tesamorelin

sermorelin

Kisspeptin

BPC157-TB500

Those crossed my mind, but I figured going straight to hgh cuts out the middle step? Tesa and sema get your body to put out its own growth humoune, while hgh is more direct? That's how I see it, at least. Ive also gone ahead and ordered klow, which has the Bpc and tb in it, so maybe that will do something as well. Thanks for getting back to me.

I've lost 85 lbs at this point, though twice I regained roughly 30 lbs and then dropped it once more. Pick whichever Glp1 suits you; the calorie deficit part is already clear to you. The change that has genuinely made the difference for me this time was pairing walking with strength training. Which style of strength training you choose is not important — just do something you like. I'm still in a deficit, but far less aggressive than I used to be, and the results are better. If you're already logging calories, begin logging protein too. However much we want fat gone, muscle has to come first. Regaining muscle is tougher than regaining fat. Should you go with HGH, that's even more favorable for your muscles — and think about trt. You'll be able to eat more, hold onto muscle, and drop the same amount of weight, only more of it from fat.

I see it as a long game rather than a quick fix. My plan is to begin at a low dose and keep it low for as long as possible, avoiding adding anything else for as long as I can. Losing weight slowly tends to mean the loss sticks around. If compounds did most of the work, then dropping the weight fast usually means it returns fast. How are you eating, and how are you training? Have you gotten blood work done to look at your growth hormone levels or your IGF-I levels?

At this point I wouldn't add hgh. You said Reta has been in the picture for 1 month.

Stick with that for now, and in the meantime see what lifestyle tweaks you can make.

Your enthusiasm for peptides is understandable, but pump the brakes and give the Reta a chance to do its thing first. There's no reason to bring in every single thing plus the kitchen sink.

Those are fantastic numbers.

Has anything else been changed on your end to help with the fat loss?

Plenty of folks in this community will tell you what worked for them, and I think that'll be helpful to you.

Losing weight at that pace is really quick, and sooner or later things are bound to taper off. My advice would be to wait a while longer and check whether the pounds keep coming off gradually but consistently before you introduce any additional compounds. Best of luck no matter what you decide!

that's a massive drop, well done! looks like you ramped the dose up pretty quickly — did you run into any side effects worth mentioning?

Cheers! I've upped my water intake and I'm getting more protein in. On top of that, I began a new job that keeps me standing all day.
