Hey everyone,

Robert here — 44 years old, based in Southern California, and a passionate globe-trotter who has already set foot on 6 continents.

While hunting for long-term answers to several problems that neither my primary care provider nor the naturopaths I've seen have managed to solve, I happened to come across this forum.

Peptide science is something that fascinates me, and I'm aware that even more applications and treatments are on the horizon given how versatile these compounds appear to be. The ones drawing most of my attention are Retatrutide, BPC-157 and TB-500 (the Wolverine stack), and once I've gathered sufficient information and built up enough knowledge, I'm hoping to navigate my way into sourcing them.

A bit about my background:

Up until my 40th birthday, I was a dedicated medium distance runner (half marathons, plus 10km/6 miles daily 5-6 days a week), disc golfer, trail runner and cyclist — and I'd love to return to all of that through a mix of physical therapy, weight training and peptide based therapeutics.

What brought me here and what I'm trying to solve: Right at the age of 40, a painful hip impingement along with mild arthritis knocked me off my feet, effectively putting an end to my love of running and cycling, and I've gained a smidge of weight as a result. On top of that, I began experiencing a whole array of symptoms that couldn't be diagnosed, which my primary care physician labeled Fibromyalgia but didn't seem to want to look into any further. It started with headaches around the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, lasting more than 90 days (an MRI and CT Scan were performed, and no cause was ever identified), and then progressed into full-body pain, alarming and excruciating chest pain (with normal EKG results on far too many occasions), numbness and tingling across my face and hands, and twitching throughout my body (the twitching is still present today and could ultimately stem from stress related to these other issues, most of which have largely faded).

What I'm hoping for: To give Retatrutide a try in order to shed a little weight and find out whether its anti-inflammatory properties, together with arthritis, produce a clear difference in my hip and joint problems, and whether BPC-157 and TB-500 might help quiet some of these symptoms while supporting joint healing.

Thanks for attending my Robert's Introduction To GLP1Chat's Ted Talk.

Your accomplishments are really impressive! Glad to have you here, and I hope this place gives you what you're after. What makes retatrutide your pick instead of tirzepatide?

What catches my attention is how it acts on Glucagon and what that does to the liver — though the bigger draw for me is that I've come across some research suggesting Reta could be helpful for inflammation and arthritis, which I'm starting to show signs of. I suspect a lot of the odd, unexplained symptoms I get are rooted in inflammation throughout my body.

So far, the results coming out of the different TRIUMPH research trials on Reta look encouraging.

Hi there,

My name is Robert, 44 years young and I live in Southern California and avid world traveler, having been on 6 continents so far.

I've found myself stumbling across this forum in my quest for sustainable solutions to a handful of issues that my primary care provider and naturopaths could not yet resolve.

I am interested in the science of peptides and I know more is to come with their amazing range of possible uses and treatments. Retatrutide , BPC-157 and TB-500 (Wolverine stack) are what I am most interested in and hoping to find my way into the market for, once I have enough information and knowledge at my disposal.

Some background:

I was an avid medium distance runner (half marathons, 10km/6 miles per day 5-6 days a week), disc golfer, trail runner and cyclist right up until I turned 40 - I hope to get back into it with a combination of physical therapy, weight training and peptide based therapeutics.

What I am here and looking to find solutions for: Right smack at 40 years old, I found myself sidelined with a painful hip impingement and mild arthritis that has essentially halted my passion for running and cycling, and seen me put on a smidge of weight. Compounding this, I was hit with a myriad of undiagnosable symptoms that my primary care physician has called Fibromyalgia, but seemed uninterested in addressing further. What started as 24 hour/7 day a week headaches for over 90 days (MRI, CT Scan done and no known reason for these), turned into body wide pain, concerning excruciating chest pain (with normal EKG findings on too many occasions), numbness and tingling in my face and hands and body wide twitching (the twitching still persists to this day, and may ultimately be stress induced due to these other issues that have mostly subsided).

What I am hoping for: To introduce myself to Retatrutide to help drop a small bit of weight and see if its anti-inflammatory abilities with arthritis both have a noticeable impact on my hip and joint issues and and if BPC-157 and TB-500 can help suppress some of these symptoms while promoting healing of my joints.

Thank you for coming to my Robert's Introduction To GLP1Chat's Ted Talk.

Glad to have you here. Whatever you're after, this forum should have it — I've been taken aback by the sheer volume of info I've gone through in just the last few days since I signed up.
