WhatsApp Account Suspension

Before I became part of this community/scene, I had never touched WhatsApp. Since a lot of vendors seemed to favor it for getting in touch, I went ahead and installed the app, then set up an account tied to my phone number.

I reached out to several vendors—and even completed an order—but as of today my account has been suspended. I sent in an appeal with the hope of getting it reinstated. Until then, I've switched to Discord and Telegram for communication. Has this happened to anyone else here with WhatsApp?
 
Did every vendor contact you had turn out to be right? This can occur when their spam filter gets triggered by sending too many messages within a short window, or when a person flags your message as spam. From what I know, Discord and TG share this issue too.

Yes, they are. I've been in touch with most of the vendors. Still, it's possible I reached out to too many of them in one go. I've been "shopping" around, comparing prices from China and from US Warehouses, so that might be the reason.
 
I've gone through this three or four times already. Each time it occurs, I file an appeal, and within hours my account gets reinstated.
 
Same thing landed on me. Messaging a vendor was all I had done.

WhatsApp's notice: the account was banned for breaching their Terms of Service

A review request is in, so fingers crossed.

My question for anyone with more gray-market mileage: if the account stays banned (and the contacts are gone with it), what's the recommended way to set things up again and keep this from recurring?
