Hey everyone!! I wanted to ask something. When switching between 2 different retas from the s word that my batch says xd, is it better to take a short break in between?

What are your thoughts on this? Thanks for any repliesšŸ˜‰

I'm not sure — are we talking about 2 separate brands, or 2 different doses per injection?

I came across her question being discussed in a separate Public Square thread.

"from your perspective is it better to have a short break between two different retas from different shops?"

There is no need for a break. Only the usual 1 week gap separating shots when you take one each week.

I was talking about two separate brands. I started out with 1 brand, but the price I was paying was way too high, so I switched to another brand that costs much less.

As far as I'm concerned, one reta is the same as another. Still, whenever I'm about to begin a fresh batch, I take 1/10th of a dose the day before my usual injection, just to be safe against any odd reaction.

Whenever you change batches or brands—regardless of which peptide it is—taking a brief pause can be beneficial. As FRMN01 mentioned, starting with a partial dose of the new product is another smart way to reduce the chance of any problems.

It's kind of like this: "I get my Pepsi from the Shell gas station store. Before I drink a Pepsi I picked up at the Arco gas station store, do I have to wait some amount of time?"

With grey market peptides, the one thing that could differ is, maybe, the real mg/fill of the peptide, which in some cases lands a few MG's under what's advertised (i.e. 28MG inside a 30MG vial) or over it (i.e. 65mg for a 60mg vial). Outside of checking COAs for several of the same vials and averaging the mean toward your own bottle, there's not much you can do about that. In other words, if 4 bottles of a kit were sent off for volume testing (or you had access to 4 test results from your batch), and the results came back at 62mg, 65mg, 63mg, 63mg for a 60mg advertised volume fill, you might simply average out your remaining vials to 62mg or 63mg. Hopefully that all makes sense.

OTHERWISE....there should be no difference.

thanks a lot for replying, everyone. it genuinely means a lot to me! it makes me feel even more ā€œsmarterā€ when it comes to this kind of industryšŸ™‚

Rather than taking a break, could you just reduce the dose on the second one? If you're currently at 4mg, perhaps drop it to 2mg and check how that goes?
