I’m not sure what led the article’s writers to believe that a vendor, after earning millions upon millions, would simply “walk away clean” or “close the laptop and retire”.

Sure, the site may be offline, but in a space where the majority of buyers are ready to pay through untraceable methods, through TG and Discord channels that can be wiped out at any moment, and with sellers who have neither a physical location nor any business registration, I doubt these people are heading off to the Bahamas to retire.

The call that was actually made was to shut down the website, not to disappear to some tropical island for retirement.

Looks like that metaphor went right over my head. I don't know where it comes from. Is it a satirical outlet along the lines of The Onion?

From what I can tell, these sellers operate a lot like Whack-a-Mole. The FDA might crack down and force them off the web, yet up they pop under another name, another TG handle, and another ordering method.

Where I work, I knocked down plenty of moles, and now they've all returned 😂
 
I won't claim to be the first to point this out, but when you see 'US Warehouse,' picture a basement or a back room.

Those sites showing spotless white walls and people in white lab coats? They crack me up. 🤣
 
Honestly, when it comes to gray market goods, I'd put more faith in something shipped straight from China than in something handled by a middleman in a Western nation. Each extra hand it passes through raises the odds that one of them is rotten.
 
Rumors are already circulating that they'll reappear as a compounder operating under a different name. Should RFKJ succeed in rescheduling the 14 peptides he mentioned, he'd be giving them a market that's all set to go.

That's a valid observation, and it's something I hadn't thought about as I look into where to make a purchase.

If I had to put money on it, over 90% of every pharma product any of us has taken during the past 30 years originated in Chyna... These days I simply bypass the middlemen.
 
The government will crack down hard on the gray market, since Eli Lilly—their boss—gave the order. Buying or possessing peptides is going to become a felony.

Now consider the other side. Remember that Luigi guy who shot an insurance company CEO? Once you start taking GLP1s away from fat women who are now skinny, a few more Luigis are going to show up. Those women won't go back to being fat. They'll get off too.

I think I'm right, but then I always look for the silver lining in the cloud.
 
Watching how this plays out down the road should be interesting. Gear and hgh have stayed grey for years, and they're still around. With what looks like bigger money on the line, it's anyone's guess. One thing I'm sure of: peptides actually work, and that's why the market has big pharma feeling threatened.

Honestly, whoever was running that operation might have just chosen to call it quits and enjoy their money. Still, a single company going under says nothing about the broader industry. Customers who relied on them won't suddenly stop buying — they'll just move on and locate another vendor.

Yeah, producing this stuff costs next to nothing, and then it goes for hundreds. That's a huge margin, so of course there's real money in it. Regardless of what the government tries, I can't picture this coming to an end. Legalization is the sole route to wiping out the grey market.
 
Thinking they're safe? That's completely wrong.

The FTC has the power to reach back 5 years, and that's on the civil side—not criminal, which would involve the FDA and FBI.

So if they're putting a case together, it's not like they just throw up their hands and say [[Q1]]

Whether they choose to act is still unknown, but the authority is there, and my guess is they'll use it.
