Did anyone else catch that TFC – Alice is being advertised in one of the banners up top on this forum? This is the same Alice who has shut down every way of getting in touch, quit answering messages across all of their platforms, and no longer sends out product. That's how it's gone for me, anyway. Two separate orders were placed and paid for 45 days ago. For one I've got a tracking number that's dead, and for the other, nothing at all. So keep that in mind before you put in your next order.
 
Wow! I'm usually glued to the words, so it turns out I'd never actually "looked" at those banners up top!

Guess that's my own 'Invisible Gorilla' moment -- just like that famous study where folks get so wrapped up tallying passes that they completely overlook the gorilla strolling through the middle of it!

That banner only indicates someone bought the ad space, nothing more. It doesn't mean they're being endorsed… do your own checks on your suppliers
 
I'm not saying Alice has any endorsement from me, but I do know she got hit hard over CNY and had terrible problems with deliveries being messed up or sent back. I'm not sure I agree with what you said about her locking all comms. Her TG is still open, and from what's being discussed there, it looks like things are gradually getting back to normal — though it's slow and there are still problems. I'd definitely be cautious and keep an eye on things moving forward, but to me it seemed more like a capacity problem than a straight-up scam.

As for the banner, like others have said, I think it just means they paid to sponsor, and it's definitely not an endorsement of the vendor.

Does this refer to the same TFC listed under vendor connections?
 
Things have gone seriously sideways for her.

Back in early February I placed an order, and it got halted — same as what happened to hundreds of other people near CNY.

For me, replies have come rarely and without any pattern, and for plenty of others it has been even worse.

Yesterday a note arrived from her containing a fresh tracking number, which I'm hoping will finally lead to some movement.

Another troubling detail: her Telegram page appears to have vanished.

My hope is that she hasn't simply run off, and instead is just swamped by several bad breaks hitting her at the same time. It's possible she runs this as a one person operation, reselling out of a Chinese Lab.
 
Possibly this comes down to how different cultures handle things, but a vendor could earn a lot of goodwill simply by firing off a fast reply to every message along the lines of "I'm so sorry. We're unexpectedly swamped and working through things. I'll be in touch soon."

While the senior staff focus on fulfillment, they could even bring in a temp to take care of that. When Westerners are ignored, they get really PO'd and start worrying about fraud.
 
Any one of us could end up in that situation. It's a solid move to give the whole group a warning. We've got each other's backs and keep the bullshit to a minimum.

Eventually, every one of us is going to get screwed over. That's just how it goes.
 
Keep everyone in the loop... and yeah, we'll drag their name through the mud until she makes it right. Once you've got some time in here, you're free to drop a post straight into the tfc thread. Not long ago, a bunch of packages were being sent back to china right around the time the iran situation kicked off, plus there were plenty of customs delays. They've been around for a while and built up a solid reputation, though obviously things can flip in a single night.... put it on their thread here and we'll find out what they have to say. "Strength in numbers".... it would be in her best interest to reship instead of getting 5000 members on this board to blacklist them.

Thanks for letting us know, and I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I had actually just been sending emails (using the address I pulled from one of her vendor promo posts on this site). I was thinking about putting in an order. Just so you know, she did reply to my email, so that might be worth a shot? Also, in her email she told me about a promo she currently has running in the STG Telegram. Just passing that along.

Nobody who's thinking straight would take a banner ad as some kind of endorsement. What it really highlights, in my view, is just how fast a vendor situation can turn bad. On the point about checking out your supplier properly, I'm fully on board. In fact, I'm leaning toward switching my orders between several suppliers in rotation. That vendor has served me for more than a year and a half without a single problem. Lately I've started to suspect this is a broader logistics issue, since many vendors are dealing with shipping trouble, and I mean delivery windows stretching from 10 to 15 days out to 25 to 35 days.

Right, I doubt anyone takes a banner ad as an "endorsement." The point was really about how fast a vendor situation can turn. She's been one of my suppliers for more than 1.5 years, and I never ran into a single problem. Communication has resumed on her end, and I do expect the Orders to arrive — it just seems like shipping now takes 35 to 40 days rather than the 10 to 15 days we were used to.

Yesterday, a package I ordered arrived from a US address.

I only used a small amount, but it looks like she's getting better
