45 years old here, roughly 2 months into Reta, a long time listener who is commenting for the first time. lol.

I notice that I keep drifting back here every day, and I wanted to actually chip in and give something back after all the insight helpful people on here have given me. L

Reta has completely won me over! What I really appreciate here is the way this community connects folks across the globe. At some point I'd like to make it to Australia, despite the fact that seemingly every creature there is out to do us in! I've even got a Galah at home and adore that loud pink bird!

Right now Amazon has an ad airing in Australia that focuses on wombat safety. The message they're putting out is that colliding with a wombat in your car is basically the same as slamming into a tank covered in fur. When that ad came on, you crossed my mind and I had a little chuckle. Over in Australia, it feels like everything out there is out to get you.
