Hello everyone,
Joining this community brings me a lot of joy, and I want to express genuine gratitude to the people who founded GLP1Chat. Weight has been a lifelong challenge for me — my very first diets began when I was 12. Across the years, I went through numerous methods: sibutramine during my early twenties, a gastric balloon following my second pregnancy, plus assorted aesthetic procedures and treatments.
Today I'm in my early forties, and I chose to try GLP-1. Back in 2023, daily calorie restriction combined with regular physical activity helped me shed my first 20 kilos. Sadly, a stretch of major stress caused part of that weight to return, and afterward I dealt with hormonal imbalances, which have since been resolved.
Since starting tirzepatide in October last year, I've dropped roughly 15 kilos — but I've also noticed a clear loss of gluteal muscle, even though I've kept up consistent resistance training. At this point, my goal is to keep my weight steady and maybe build back some muscle mass, since my BMI has gotten fairly low now.
I'm eager to learn from all of your experiences and to pick up helpful information here.
