Anyone experienced major fatigue with Reta? I was on Tirz for a year, lost all the weight I wanted to lose.

Went on Reta for fat burning, 1.5mg dose per week for three weeks. Got too tired. Went back to Tirz for a month. Tried 3 weeks of Reta again. Two naps a day.

Good sleep hygiene, vitamin B is good, D is a little low but I’m working on it, iron a little low but I’m supplementing (don’t eat red meat). Daily creatine, NMN sublingual, NAD+ nasal spray and NAC. CoQ10 supps.

Thought Semax might help, but it put me to sleep. Tried MOT-C three times. I wanted to save it for workout days, but I’m barely working out now because I’m so exhausted. Sleeping 8 hours at night plus one in the afternoon. I eat well, no fasting, regular meals and snacks.

Age 55 been on HRT pellets for five years. Never had this low of energy and I’m running out of ideas.

did it go away when you did Tirz for a month? seems like the low dose Reta would be mostly out of your system by then.

Did you start Reta again feeling well?

Just concerned that you may not have ruled out something non glp1 related if this was a persistent issue.

I would likely talk to a GP or get labs if it lasted throughout both cycles of Tirz and Reta.

I would like to see opinions of others.

Three hours a night, a nap in the late morning, and a nap in the early evening (I have no choice...).

This is multiphase sleep, which was the natural way of sleeping before the industrial era: first sleep, second sleep, and an afternoon nap (though not at the same times as mine).

Good thought thank you. 🙏

I was also very tired the first 6 weeks or so at 2mg a week. Increasing electrolytes helped me, sodium and potassium during the day, magnesium glycinate at night. Now I feel normal at 6mg every 5 days.

Somewhat on similar dosage but just pinning 0.5mg every 3-4 days for a bit. Have not felt any tiredness or sluggishness. Just some messed up sleep. I think after the last few days I need to up my electrolytes more due to some muscle cramping at night.

Without knowing your current or target weight and start weight , it is hard to answer. also what doses of tirz and reta are you using? I also do not understand the reason for swapping to reta if tirz caused all the weight loss you needed. Are you trying to increase muscle mass and reduce body fat at the same time?

The simple answer is just use tirz if it works and does not cause problems, there is no evidence that reta is better at preserving muscle. But it depends on why you want to use reta instead of tirz.

In general reta causes more sympathetic nervous system activity making it more likely to increase heart rate or reduce sleep, and in general people say it causes less tiredness than tirz, but side effects to these drugs are very variable and do not always make perfect sense.

If the pattern of tiredness is consistently only on reta , and goes away on tirz, then an underlying physical cause for the tiredness is less likely, but a basic checkup and bloods is not a bad idea. There are a lot of possible causes for tiredness, including low calorie intake, but none of these should change depending on if you take reta or tirz

How long were you able to stay on it before switching back to tirzepatide? My experience mirros sheila's. My first couple months were pretty brutal, I was just permanently low energy which lead to a lot of very half assed workouts.

Do you ADHD? How does caffeine work for you?

Liquid IV, two the day before pin day, one day of with a PM pin Friday. Or maybe it was two each day, I don’t have my notes. Eliminated my nappy Saturday (I’d go down for four hours!)

I split the Liquid IV power into two Gatorade bottles. It's high in sodium.

I’m switching back from Reta to Tirz for similar reasons. Fatigued and tired as hell, but also stripped of motivation to do anything other than drag my sorry ass to work each day. Been on Reta 8 weeks, max dose has been 2mg and titrated up very slowly.

I had it for a little bit, but haven't felt fatique in a long time. Been out in this 98* weather hanging lights on my house and doing stuff outside, and I'm older.
