I have been on GLP for 2 years. I’ve lost 75 lbs but still have 30-35 more to go. My loss has slowed pretty substantially over the last year (not that it was ever fast). I am losing about 1 lb/month at most. I’ve had several stalls and months where I’ve lost nothing. I have definitely gained muscle though! I am happy with where my body is and happy with where I am going. I am looking to get this last stretch of weight off and hit my goal. BMI is currently 30.

I have 4 months left in my tirz supply. I am thinking of combining with cagri to break through all these stalls. After being on this for 2 years I think I need something more. Current dose is 12.5mg. I went up to 15 with no difference.

Wondering if anyone is pairing these. I am also wondering if the calories go way down, what happens in a maintenance phase? I am currently around 1600 cals/day, lifting 3 days a week.

Hi there.

I added Cagri to my Tirz regimen when I stalled out too. It seemed to do the trick to get things moving again but now I'm trying to find a maintenance program that works for me. I was at 15mg Tirz when I stalled and added Cagri. Started at 0.5 then 1.0 and saw nothing so jumped to 2.5mg and things started to happen. IME - Cagri did make me really tired for a few days post dosing. I'm thinking of going off it now and trying to maintain on Tirz alone. Your mileage may vary but Cagri does work and does have some side effects. Best.

Thanks! I was on sema for about 10 mos with no sides and I haven’t had any sides with tirz, either. I am not too worried about sides, but I also don’t want to throw my money away!

IME - Cagri did work but as I said, I tried a couple of lower doses and then just said "the hell with it" and went to what I read to be the max dose 2.5mg. So I wouldn't consider giving it a shot throwing your money away.

I started stacking cagri with tirz four weeks ago and have lost about 6 pounds since then. My weight loss had slowed considerably before then. So, I definitely think it’s worth buying a kit of cagri and seeing how you do. Cagri kits are relatively inexpensive and you wouldn’t need much. I’d highly recommend starting slow. I’d buy another kit of tirz too while you’re at it. Although you haven’t lost weight (or little weight) recently, I’m thinking you also haven’t gained, and that’s the tirzepatide doing it’s thing.

Starting my Cagri this week. Did you adjust your Tirz dose when you added Cagri? I am planning on starting at 250 mcg and will pin 4 days after my Tirz. I see many are dosing on different days to stretch the appetite suppression benefit. Is this necessary?

I also have some Reta in case this doesn’t work. I have about 2 months left of my tirz supply. Seems like that should be enough of an effort, no?

Well I WAS going to start my Cagri trial tonight, but Im working through some co.pounded meds and began a new vial from a different pharmacy and it's rebooted my weight loss on its own. But I still a ways to go, so keeping the cagri in my back pocket for the next big stall as I get closer to goal.

Coming up on my 3rd week stacking Cagri with tirz. Started at 250mcg, then added another 250mcg 4 days later. Did 500 mcg last week. Not much change, down .5 lbs in the last 2 weeks. Considering going straight for 1mg tomorrow.

Keep us posted! I am thinking of doing the same thing you are.

This is kinda where I'm at. Tirz at 10, then 12, now 15mg/6D. Some low dose Reta in the mix for good measure, too. (I did just jump the Reta up to 6mg/6D from 4 yesterday).

Cagri for 2 months at 500mcg/6D, then 1mg/6D for a little less than a month, then 2mg/6D for a month; jumping the Cagri to 3mg/6D the day after tomorrow.

Too soon to tell on the scale but the weigh-ins between official weigh-ins do seem to suggest movement downward again.

I assume you left the tirz dose the same and added cagri? On tirz15/reta6mg / week plus a bit of cagri at 0.25 every 4 days, I think the cagri makes a tiny bit of difference to hunger, but doses any higher cause nausea for me. I am only on them for maintenance, having lost most of the weight a couple of years before starting glp's, but down to 64kg from 145.

If the cagri has a strong effect without side effects, and drops calorie intake, that is what you want presumably to get past the stall, once you get to target, or if it drops intake too much, you can always drop back the dose. I would probably agree that trying cagri first makes the most sense rather than adding reta or swapping to it, especially if you have zero side effects from tirz and it has worked quite well to get weight down 75 lbs.
