In other words, this is underway already, and we're aware of it. Now more scanners and similar gear are going to be bought.

No official figure exists, but the share of peptides intercepted probably sits at just 1-3%. Annual package volume exceeds a billion, which works out to four million every day (that's all packages, peptides included). With an extra $3.4 billion, peptide seizures could rise to 2-5%. Vendors still profit enormously, and prices will keep falling even if they must resend 2-5% of orders.

If the rate really were 1-3 percent, that would catch me off guard. Then there's the question of how big a package is. Sure, a beginner might get all worked up and intercept a tiny parcel of peptides. But would they genuinely bother with a little box of peptides? Right now I'm in a hotel room, preparing to inject HGH from a vial I carried with me and mixed myself, and it hit me: when it comes to individual users of these compounds, enforcement probably couldn't care less, whether we're talking about customs or tsa. Think about it — if small parcels were the focus, plenty of people wouldn't be buying from India just to dodge getting gouged by the pharmaceutical racket here in the good ole USA.
