Hi,

My peptides just arrived, and inside the vials they are completely rock solid rather than fine powder. Is that normal?

All 3 types I received are like this.

I am unsure whether they are safe to use.

Typically, the vials contain small pucks. Occasionally, those pucks break apart during transit.

Yeah, that's basically how it is

Every time I've received them, this is exactly how they've looked. That said, as Vash_ pointed out, the solid mass can occasionally break apart into several chunks.

In hospitals, the majority of standard medications that need to be reconstituted are supplied as powders. Peptides, however, are made into a ‘lypophilised’ powder, which helps keep them stable. As I understand it, this is basically a freeze drying method.

It's not crack, so don't smoke it.

Seriously though, and on top of that, never ever confuse them with each other or you'll regret it big time. Put a label on every vial, don't rely on your memory alone. As your stash grows, it won't take long before you can't keep them straight if they aren't marked.
