Retatrutide acts along several pathways, as is common knowledge, and among them are reduced appetite and slower stomach emptying. Ipamorelin works as a ghrelin mimetic, and research has demonstrated that it can substantially boost hunger and speed up gastric emptying.

So I'm wondering: for anyone who has taken both simultaneously, could you still feel retatrutide's appetite-curbing action, or did Ipamorelin's hunger-stimulating effect override it?

One more thing for people who've used this combination: on a cut, did you hold onto more lean mass compared with using reta by itself??

Ipamorelin ramped up my hunger so much that I figured Retatrutud was no longer doing anything.

After beginning Retatrutud, I added strength training and my muscle mass has clearly gone up. Whether Ipamorelin and CJC pushed that gain any higher, I honestly can’t tell.

I've been using CJC/Ipa alongside Reta for roughly 4 weeks at this point. Before adding those, I ran just Reta for around 6 weeks. What I've noticed is that my lean mass seems to be holding on better. Since making the switch, the scale hasn't moved much, but the recomp is visibly happening, so the lack of weight loss isn't really bothering me at the moment. In fact, I've put on 3 lbs of muscle since I began this stack. Reta's appetite suppression is still there for me, and I fill up pretty fast. That does make reaching my protein goal a little tougher, but I make myself get the protein in anyway, leaning on protein-heavy snacks and protein shakes.

I'm 4 weeks into CJC/IPA at 150mcg 2/day, taken fasted, and honestly I can't point to anything either way — no downside, no upside. Well, except for one thing I suppose: a quarter sized itchy spot that shows up for 30min after each injection. Whether my labwork comes back with any increase is still up in the air.

Context: this comes after months on Reta, and I'm still holding at a 2mg/wk maintenance dose.

Twice I ran Tesa/ipa, each stint lasting just about 5 days. The first round: Reta at 2mg weekly, plus tesa/ipa at 1/.250 split between morning and night. Hunger rose somewhat, though it stayed manageable.

A later attempt used roughly 4mg Reta alongside 1.5/.350 t/I taken in the evenings. That time, appetite didn't budge at all.

Once my weight gets nearer to goal, I'll give it another go — except it caused water retention, which put me off.

Likely the same thing happens with Reta and HGH. The first few weeks after I began HGH, my hunger shot way up, and my friends and I laughed about needing a higher Reta dose just to offset it. A few weeks in, though, my body got used to it and things evened out. These days I'm on the same micro dose of Reta, and it feels like it's working just as well as it did before. Whether HGH follows the same pattern, I can't say.

Running CJC IPA alongside Reta should protect your muscle mass while you're in a deficit

I run both myself, and thanks to the cjc ipa I could eat properly again
