Hey all

So I’m getting some red rashes or dots on my torso. I’m on the following TRT, Reta, HGH. I started GHKCU around 4 weeks ago. In the past two three days I’m getting red dotting or tiny rash bumps on my torso. Initially I thought maybe a sun burn rash but that ain’t it. So then I’m like maybe bed bugs as I’m in a rental beach house. But as I share bed with my wife and she has nothing. Plus according to her bedbugs kinda bite in a certain pattern I don’t think that’s it. My rash can be very itchy and then it completely goes away for a few hours. Then it comes back. It goes from very itchy to just a little itch. My thought is it might be GHK and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this ? I have no rash on my face or anything. I inject 1.75mg daily. Could it be the peptide ?

4 weeks without issue? Unless it’s a delayed allergic reaction, that’s probably not the cause. I’d try a little hydrocortisone cream to resolve it. I also cycle GHK-Cu so maybe take a short break.

Does it happen where you injected the GHK-Cu? It's a well-known side effect to get a stinging/itchy ISR from GHK-Cu. And it doesn't always happen right away, or some days you won't get it and some days you will. I've been on GHK-Cu for almost a year and still get it sometimes.

This started with me a few weeks ago. Lil dark red spots here & there then last week i woke up with my whole back the same way.

Patches all over torso 🤔

Went to the doctors & he claimed I wasn't contagious however to take steroid cream for a week.

Stopped my pep stack & yes its now gone.

Wasn't sure if i should blame my G or Tess.

Don't want to stop either TBH 🤣

Ya same here. Haha might lay off the GHK and see if that helps.

Do you filter your peps?

If you’re in a rental, I wonder if I could be an allergy to the detergent they use to launder the sheets or something like that. So maybe it’s worse after you’ve been in bed and then it clears up for a few hours when you don’t have that recent contact with the sheets, and then that cycle repeats. Just thinking out loud…

I don’t filter no. But yes could easily be from the house. Expect I’d normally don’t have allergies.

I wondered this too - contact dermatitis from detergent on the towels, sheets or something in the upholstery.

From someone who used to get hives daily, this sounds like hives. Hives tend to move around and appear then disappear.

So just a quick update as I’m sure I’m not the only one who has gotten hives and similar skin reactions from peps. It’s been now around 10 days since I completely removed GHK, NAD and HGH from my daily regiment. I currently only do Reta and test. But skin is improving. I do take antihistamines daily still and also apply hydrocortisone ointment on my affected skin. Hives or red patches are subsiding. It’s less red now. More brownish tbh. Less itchy as well. I saw my clinic that gave me the Reta and GHK and my doctor is confident that I have overdone my peptides. I did do 2mg GHK daily. Hgh 5 times per week and 100mg NAD daily as well. They have as you did recommended me to just stay off until my skin is completely improved and then slowly start to introduce peps again. One product at a time to avoid overdosing. My guy thinks I did too much GHK and NAD especially at the same time. That combined with sunburn during my vacation made my skin have an allergic reaction. But good news is that things are improving quite fast now and I feel a lot less frustrated. Just my personal feedback for anyone who is in the same shoes as me.

I spent way too much time researching drug reactions when I had a weird rash a year or so ago.

My suggestion would be to keep an open mind about what might be causing it. The timing of when you used the peptides is not really a factor, most drug reactions start days to months after starting the drug or peptide, so if you had been on it a year or so it becomes much less likely as a cause. And it might be unrelated to the peptides, there are thousands of possible causes for inflammatory rashes. But if it keeps getting better then problem solved.

I do think it is very unlikely that you would not get an injection site reaction, if a peptide was causing a generalised rash as well, but if the injection was intramuscular then odds are it would be hard to detect, so if you want to try them to find out if one is a cause, injecting a small dose subcutaneously might give you a reaction, which would make it fairly likely to be the cause. Not foolproof as injection site reactions are common when there is no other skin rash response, but probably the best way to get an idea.

If three bumps following a vein… bed bugs. Most people don’t react to bed bug anti-coagulant, or they might only after a long delay.
