Growth hormone secretagogs, plus straight HGH, can aggravate PCOS (which is now called PMOS).

Maybe this was common knowledge for others, but I hadn’t come across people discussing it, and I didn’t know. Could that relate to peptide spaces skewing heavily male?

This isn’t an unwanted effect or secondary consequence: with growth hormone secretagogs (Tesamorelin, sermorelin, ipamorelin, CJC1295, etc), the harm lies in their primary effect. In PCOS, IGF1 is already elevated, and pushing it higher makes acne, cycle irregularities, insulin resistance, and metabolic damage worse—the same issues we are already working to improve.

That's news to me too. For 2 years now I've been on GLP-1s, and while I'd like to explore other peptides further, I'm cautious about anything that might backfire given my PCOS. GHK-Cu crossed my mind for hair and skin, but I couldn't help wondering whether it would make hirsutism worse. My electrolysis costs are already through the roof 😅
