Hey everyone

A quick background on me- last March, a bit more than a year back, I got out of a long term relationship. I ended up moving in with a close friend who competes as a semi-pro bodybuilder (he's taken home a couple trophies, so that's how I'd label it), and right off the bat he tells me “I’m gonna make you my bitch” LOL. His place has a full home gym, and since I was craving a big life change, I jumped in completely. Roughly 2 months in, progress was already visible and it fired me up. For around a year now I've been training consistently, adding muscle, and steadily losing fat. Obese wouldn't have been the right word for me, but I was somewhat… flabby. Not happy with how I looked overall. These days when I run into female friends I haven't seen in a while, they say “wow, you look… different!” And man, that feels great. Attention from women has never been this high for me!

Where I'm at now, fat loss feels like it's stalling in a big way, and I'd like to drop my body fat further before festival season kicks off. If you spot me there, I'll be that annoying dude giving thick girls shoulder rides LOL

So yesterday I did my first reta pin, starting at 0.5mg. My friend also handed me some MOTS-C, which I'm thinking of running on a morning M/W/F schedule, though plenty of people seem to use it more in a pre workout style, so that's a topic I want to research further. On the reta side, no side effects so far and no appetite suppression either, so I might pin another 0.5 later this week and move to 1mg next week. Split dosing comes up a lot in what I've read, so that seems fine to me.

My usual routine is lifting 4 to 5 days a week, high intensity muscle group splits taken to failure. My roomie is really into Mike Mentzer, so he's had me training that way and the results have been great. The only thing left is this stubborn fat layer sitting over my abs, and I'm hoping reta gets me where I want to be.

Appreciate you reading, I'm here to learn a lot from this forum and eventually help out other newbies!

keep your reta dose low. sure...it won't match what bigger doses deliver, but from what i've experienced, those smaller amounts carry you pretty far as long as you show even a bit of self-control. i take .3 twice a week and food never crosses my mind anymore....which is precisely the bit of support i was after. guessing you're in the same boat

Disclaimer: Im a COMPLETE noob and still in the early research stage for most all peptides. Check out Tesamorelin. Im not fully sold on the common claim that it melts visceral fat...but i do believe some growth hormone effect is at play when you use it....and based on what i've come across it looks like an awesome pick for anyone who lifts and lifts heavy. AGAIN....COMPLETE noob, but i enjoy reading and forming my own opinions and the small amount i've looked into tesamorelin leads me to think it's a great gym companion

Appreciate it, that helps a lot! You nailed it — the nonstop food noise is what’s hitting me hardest at the moment. I’ll eat something small, and not even 60 minutes later I’m already thinking about my next meal. I’m decent at tuning those thoughts out, but the noise is loud enough that it genuinely breaks my focus. I figure I’ll stay at 0.5 2x weekly for now and see where that lands me.
