Helllo Pep Peeps!

I call the American Southwest home, but my job keeps me moving around the US.
Up until age 12 I was small and constantly on the go. Then came forty-four years where food sat at the #1 spot in my head: What will I eat? Will today be a healthy day? How soon can I eat? I shouldn't be eating this. That was too much. Nothing fits. I should cut back. Ice cream is the best, tomorrow I'll begin…
1996, when my daughter arrived, was when I hit my max of 250lbs. During the early 2000s I put myself on a strict diet, dropped 75lbs, and walked away from a bad marriage. PCOS got somewhat easier, and for the following ten years I fluctuated between 160-180. Getting sober in 2013 took off another 20lbs.
After that I've swung between 150-170, yet with age my skin, bones, and tissues no longer bounce back the way they used to. Bingey, sore, activated, tired, and depleted — that's my constant state.
A few months back I began digging into this, and it feels like an entirely new world has appeared!
I sorted through enough evidence-based information to begin — my medical work and background were useful — but nowhere else have I found a peer group this smart, curious, and supportive, one that makes newcomers feel welcome.
Joining has made me genuinely happy, and I can't wait to be “part of!”

If you knew me, and you knew a box of cupcakes had been sitting in the fridge for a week and I hadn't had even ONE, that would tell you everything about how life-changing this deal is.
