Living in the wild and wonderful state — that's what the license plate claims, anyway. I had been taking zepbound for pcos insulin resistance, but then insurance cut off coverage… I've heard reta works better and costs way less!

Hi,

I moved from Tirz over to Reta, and the one that works 'better' for you comes down to your own goals. Grey Tirz costs less than grey Reta, so don't let price be the only thing you weigh up.

Most of my weight came off while on Tirz, going from 134kg down to 97kg, but I made the change to Reta because a few of the Tirz sides were too much for me. On Reta I feel a lot better, I'm able to eat more, and I've got more energy both in the gym and throughout the day.

I’ve never used any peptides up to this point, yet from what I keep reading, the general opinion leans toward Reta being “better”. Weight loss can be achieved with any of them (sema, triz, Reta), though Reta does appear to produce a stronger effect on dropping pounds compared with the rest. I went ahead and placed an order for some Reta recently to test it out. Right now I’m 280lbs and 6’2”, so my main hope is that the food noise quiets down a lot. In the past I managed to lose 70lbs through logging everything I ate and running, but then life became chaotic and I lost my routine. That slide took me from 180 up to the 280 I’m at today. Once my peptides arrive and I begin gathering data, I’m hoping to post an update about how it’s going.

Stacking the 2 is something I'm also wondering about. After a year and a half on sema, a change is needed for me. At first I planned to go straight to reta, but once I looked into it more, I went with Tirz first, with NAD+ added on. For me personally, the peptidefox guides have served as a solid place to start. From what I hear, combining reta and tirz happens pretty often, though my plan is to begin low and move slowly, then figure out what works.

I began stacking Reta alongside Tirz just this week—literally. My approach is to switch between the two every 3 days. For Reta, my starting dose was 1.0, even though .5 would have been the smarter choice. The side effects I got were pretty much identical to what happens when you increase your Tirz dose: a mild all-over blah sensation, plus the runs.

Was your decision to begin at 1 rather than 0.5 based on the fact that you'd already titrated upward while on the tirz? I keep flip-flopping about what would be a sensible starting dose for Tirz, given that I'm currently taking 2.5mg of sema each week. And should the sema be tapered down as I bring in the tirz, or would it be better to stop it right away and kick off at the standard 2.5mg/week tirz dose?

Not only reta—every product costs less over here. Since certain individuals respond more favorably to tirz, reta may not suit everyone. Glad to have you in the reta group!
