Multivitamin

Every day I go through 2 LEF tablets. My supply comes from Amazon. It's not exactly low-cost, running roughly $10 each month. On top of that I throw in some extras—fish oil, magnesium, D3+K2—though those probably aren't needed.

Magnesium and D3/K are part of my routine as well. Since lupus keeps me out of the sun for extended periods, my vitamin levels consistently come back low.

Between the 2000i.u. that comes in my multivitamin and an extra 5000i.u. capsule, my total D3 intake may look like a lot. Still, my blood tests keep coming back at about 50ng/ml. Part of the year, I don't get much sun exposure.

Because I see so many doctors, I also have labs drawn regularly. My daily D3 dose has to be 10k.

SuppCo is a rather nice app created by board certified physicians. It rates dietary supplements and provides a score for your supplement stack.

For absorption reasons, I go with the NOW women's multi gel caps. They seem both affordable and fairly well-rounded.
