Mud Run – Should I Skip My Dose?

I’m on split dosing for Tirzepatide right now: 3.5mg on Tuesday at 8am, then 3.5mg on Friday at 8pm. What I’ve noticed is that for a day or 2 after each dose, I feel wiped out and my workouts suffer. More recently, the fatigue has been building and lasting longer, and my intake is definitely lower than before—roughly 1200 calories per day. This Saturday I’ve got a mud run: 5k, 17 obstacles. I already know I won’t dose Friday night, but now I’m debating whether to also skip Tuesday. For context: I’m a 35 y/o female, currently 210, SW 240. What would you do?

Honestly, my inclination would be to hold off on both shots.

The main issue tends to be fluid loss plus insufficient electrolyte intake, and that applies whether or not someone is using GLPs. Where I'm located (Arizona), getting ahead on fluids beforehand is a major focus, and that's true even when you're not doing something this demanding. With less GLP circulating, staying ahead on hydration should only get simpler.

Also:

Consuming additional carbohydrate calories (often combined with a tapering off in training load) in the final days before an event is a good idea.

Every gram of glycogen stored in the muscle binds with approximately 3 grams of water. It is completely normal—and actually beneficial—to notice a slight increase in scale weight during a carb-load. This extra water is released during the event, helping to maintain hydration levels as glycogen is metabolized.

If it were me, I'd move Friday's shot to Saturday once the run is done, and then keep everything else the same.
Also, one more thing — Methylene Blue really helped me with the tiredness from Tirz

I'd take it on Tuesday, then shift Friday's to Saturday. Enjoy the run! My first fun run is in June and I'm looking forward to it.

Care to explain?
Methylene Blue...head over to You Tube and really explore this incredible substance. It comes as liquid drops or in capsule form, cheap and really high quality, giving clean energy and focus....I regret not looking into it earlier.

Put simply, it does a great job supporting mitochondria, and it's great for both cognition and stamina.

I'm a big fan of it, but I've been taking it for roughly half a year now, and I'm pretty sure my brain is permanently blue. Even my toilets have stains that won't come out! It did give me a real energy lift, no question. Back then, MitoZen bars were my go-to.

I completed my initial one yesterday, and I decided not to take Friday's dose. It was a blast! I hope yours is just as enjoyable ❤️❤️
