Hi all!

After a long stretch of just reading posts here, I figured it was time to jump in and take part. I'm a guy in my early 30's, and for the past 5 years my weight has gone up and down. Several times I managed to drop 100lbs+, but keeping it off never worked out—until Tirzepatide came into the picture. For me, GLP 1's have been a total blessing and have made a life I genuinely enjoy possible. I'm down more than 130 lbs, and for over a year now I've managed to keep that weight off. Sports are part of my life again, and I feel closer to the athlete I was back in my teens and early 20's. These days I'm using Retatrutide. What I want out of becoming active here is twofold: I'd like to understand more about the peptides I'm using, and I'd also like to cheer on other people's weight loss wins.

Well done, that’s a fantastic result!

In your experience, how does Reta’s hunger suppression compare with Terz?

Dropping 130lbs and holding steady past the 1-year mark is genuinely something to admire — the usual pattern is people shed the pounds then put them back on inside 12 months. That you kept it off while switching over to Reta speaks volumes.

Good to have you here, and nice to see you stop lurking and post. There's plenty of solid peptide material on this board whenever you feel like exploring it.

Wow! Hitting 130lbs is something to celebrate. I've also managed to drop over 100lbs multiple times. The biggest drop for me happened between 2017-2019, when I lost 250lbs through an extreme low calorie diet. I had no idea how much harm I was causing my metabolism. Consuming 800-900 calories daily for nearly 2 years was not a wise approach to weight loss. When I reached the point where I couldn't keep it up anymore, I regained most of the weight. Here's hoping for better long term outcomes!

130 lbs! That is amazing. How did your tirz dosing progress? What made you switch to reta?
When I began, I mirrored the clinical trial protocol: 2.5mg initially, then a 2.5mg bump every 3-4 weeks, stopping once I hit 15mg. The reason I moved over to reta was that the tirz had stopped keeping the food noise at bay.

From the very beginning, Reta wiped out my appetite and food noise, whereas Tirz only started delivering strong results once I got nearer to a maintenance dose. Tirz is certainly effective, no doubt about it, but Reta works at a whole different level.
