My current lab seems to have ghosted me. No responses to emails last two weeks. Any recommendations for real, accurate testing labs for content, purity, and endos?

If we're talking about US labs I'd say ILS or Freedom

A lot of people seem not to put a lot of stock into Freedom, but I recently received a quote from them and was going back and forth with them and have to say that I was impressed. Can't speak to the reliability of their lab services, but the front end stuff was very professional and quick.

Do you know a lot about ILS? Are they reputable and reliable?

I haven't seen anyone speak poorly of Freedom myself, and I've used them half a dozen times now, and am always very pleased. Based on results compared to other COAs I believe they are accurate. They cought MT1 in a KPV order I wasn't expecting, and helped me figure out a vendor swapped their 5s and 10s CJC. They for sure are fairly priced and fast. $400 for M/P, net content and Endos, and reports almost always received 2 business days after my samples arrive to them. They're in TN so cheap and fast to ship to from most of the US.

I hear you! I personally agree. I'm running a group right now that the members overwhelming wanted a domestic lab and I realized it was best just to move forward and get the testing done. I wasn't going to fight the will of the people 🤣. But going forward, if I run any additional testing servers (not planning on any soon) the lab choice won't be a group decision.

Can I sincerely ask why it's not possible to have more than one competent lab? The free market eventually is pretty good at creating quality competition.

the other benefit is most vendors will not accept from just any lab, jano is the standard for a reason and actually valuable for refunds.

I guess I'm more practical about the lab decision, such that if there happens to be an issue with the results, and if vendors will only accept a COA from Jano for a claim (for underfill/wrong peptide, etc.), then it seems mostly pointless to use other labs. The question would be best posed to vendors.

You beat me to it. 🤣 And I've actually have had kits replaced for a test group I lead by a vendor for a fill issue. We all got replacement kits and kept our original kits. Would have never happened with a non-Jano COA. So, the decision to me is more about being practical than thinking that other labs are unqualified or not as good. I'm sure many US domestic labs are just fine.
