Signing up for sites is not really my habit; there is a reddit account I open roughly once every few years and a youtube account I do nothing with beyond watching videos lol. Even so I have been reading random threads on here for a few months, so making an account seemed sensible, particularly after I nearly got scammed for being an idiot lol.

semaglutide has been in use for...three years? Four years? Honestly I am unsure. The whole time I have been "grey", beginning with (comparatively) overpriced resellers, working through a few of them in search of the cheapest price that still took regular payment methods. My current vendor has had me for the last couple years and I am happy with it, though I am well aware that ordering directly from China is obviously far more cost efficient. The bigger issue is that 10mg vials are all my vendor sells and I want to move to 30, because pens are a recent addition for me and I always use 1ml per 10mg to keep dosing simple, and it feels...wasteful to put only 1ml into a 3ml cartridge, given they are technically not reusable.

A super responder is probably the right label for me: 230+ down to ~110-120 in roughly a year, and never above 1.5mg a week. Almost all of that time it was 1mg only. Just recently I pushed my dose back up to 1.25, since I had noticed myself getting super hungry towards the end of each week. My bathroom scale claims around 10.5% body fat, 9.5% subcutaneous fat and 3% visceral fat. Home scales are wildly inaccurate for that sort of measurement, I know, but it still interests me. Below 145 is something I had literally never been in my life! Not even in high school, training constantly, taking weight lifting classes, in a full blown eating disorder -- there was simply no way I could stay below 140 for any meaningful stretch.

I am only 5'4, so nobody needs to worry about my weight or anything, I am still inside a normal BMI. Working out more and adding some muscle is something I do want, since I am suuuper scrawny now and it is not a good look. My girlfriend/wife (not married, purely because we would lose our insurance, and we have been together a decade this year) is on tirzepatide, as semaglutide did nothing for her. My little sister is on sema, though I may move her to tirze in the coming months if her weight does not start coming off more consistently soon. She is up to 3mg and I am unsure whether encouraging her to keep climbing is really wise if it is simply not working. Doing both has also crossed my mind, an every other week kind of thing. Everything for everyone is bought by me, since my girlfriend has no regular job and my sister cannot afford it. State insurance covers us all, so even though my sister is very obese (down to 300 I think, she has lost 40 pounds, iirc), it will not cover it because she has no comorbidities.

There is an odd guilt in how quickly and well it worked for me while neither my sister nor my girlfriend got the same response. My aunt is on tirzepatide as well (I think? the brand escapes me so it could be sema, but I believe she moved to tirze), and she has dropped about 50 or 60 pounds over the past year or two, so my hope is that it turns out to suit my sister better. In truth the only reason she has stayed on semaglutide this long is the price. My girlfriend I pushed to switch after under six months of lackluster response.

These peptides are something I both expect and want to use for the rest of my life. Simply...living is so much easier now, with no counting calories or watching what I eat or any of that. Plenty of people take offence when it is implied this is the easy way out, and I understand that, but for me it genuinely is. Nothing else worked. As a teen I would literally eat under 1200 calories a day for months and still not reach the weight I sit at now. All the crap I did when I was younger has probably wrecked my metabolism. Everyone in my family is fat, so genetics definitely play some part as well. And I do not really think my eating differs that much from before, even though I know everyone will insist there is no way that is true. What I do know is that I pay far less attention to what I eat now; I eat until full and worry about nothing else. My protein should probably go up though, honestly.

Oh, selank is another recent addition, for anxiety. Only about a week of it so far and I began on a really low dose (it is for anxiety, so...trying new medication tends to make me anxious), though I have finally bumped it up to 250-300mcg. No effects noticed yet, but if that carries on I may bump it again in a couple days. Starting low was also down to how hard I found it to find accurate dosing information, for subq NA selank specifically. Most of the studies I turned up were clearly on regular selank and/or for nasal administration. semax for ADHD is something I am considering (mostly for my sister), so I will try to report back here if anything changes with anything lol.

Anyway, that's it! Apologies for the word count. There has been a ton of reading and comparing, and just...idk, basically an attempt to work everything out for the three of us, so it has been a lot, thinking about it now. Like. I reconstitute everything myself, tell them how much to draw up, and they simply trust me not to fuck it up? That is kind of incredible in retrospect lmao. Usually it is no big deal, since we are all basically settled in our doses, but every month, for example, my girlfriend asks me how much bac water she needs to add. >_< So yeah, it is just overwhelming if I actually stop to think about it lol.
