Day 4 now, roughly 92 hours since that first injection, and the effect is clearly fading. When I got up this morning hunger still hadn't come back, but there's soreness all over, the migraines have returned along with pain in my hands and feet, and honestly I feel a lot heavier, for lack of a better way to put it.oldjarhead said:
That closing paragraph really struck a nerve. 6 months back, I was in the same place. Stick with it, and my guess is you'll see the physical changes—and as an extra, your mental game will level up as well. Motivation will kick in, and you'll genuinely love reclaiming your life. You've got what it takes. Keep pushing!super35link said:
You are correct that these red flags deserve attention. For 5 years now my A1C has been bouncing around within the pre-diabetic range, and the most recent reading came in at 5.8, which was actually a decent result because I had cut back on simple surgery food.
6 feet tall, 240 pounds. My objective is to get rid of NAFLD; whether I drop weight is irrelevant to me. I have psoriasis along with psoriasis arthritis, and Gout was added to the list not long ago. No medication is being taken for the psoriasis, and allopurinol is the only thing I use, and only when a gout attack hits.
In fact I conducted an experiment on myself. Using nothing except a spoon of honey, I attempted to push my blood insulin up at various points during the day. Early morning turned out to be the worst moment for it, while right before sleep was the best. I experienced every sort of insulin resistance symptom: a shaking feeling, being so hungry I went hunting for food, hands and feet that were swollen and painful, migraines that only slightly ease with paracetamol, plus inflammation and pain in and around the spots where old injuries or psoriasis had been.
As of now those symptoms have largely disappeared. I realize my diet was pretty terrible over the past couple of years, but I think I brought this on myself, since no meds existed for Fatty Liver Disease. Why would I turn down a quarter pound cheese burger, I am dying anyway.
It takes me back to when I was dropping weight before — should I start going to the gym again?
What do you do to hold onto that sense of physical strength, mental clarity and motivation for longer stretches? Right now it feels like I need another shot immediately
