Greetings, all! Sunday cheer to the US crowd, and a Monday greeting for anyone already further along the calendar.
37 years old, intersex and AFAB, standing 5'4" — and heavy for as long as I can remember. Truly, from the start.
This round started at 365lbs; 340 arrived through my own effort, then compounded tirzepatide came in during November of 2025. Since then it's down to 295 and the line keeps drifting lower. The dose is still modest at 4mg and I'm titrating at a crawl on purpose — there's a lot to shed, and I want the longest possible stretch before a plateau shows up.
PCOS is one diagnosis, along with ongoing inflammation and knees that ache from years of supporting this much weight. Other peptides and supplements are on my list to explore. Looks aren't the driver — what I'm after is a body that stops vetoing my plans. Chasing nephews and godchildren around. Gardening outside without wincing. Lifting properly at the gym without wrecking something.
