Good day to everyone — South FL is home, and watching grass grow is genuinely a hobby of mine.
Peptide research is something I've only just begun, and the puzzle is working out which of it counts as real biohacking versus what's likely just a placebo effect. GLP's and a few of the GHRP's look well evidenced to me, but the other hundred still lack enough data for me to judge. It feels like scammers have got into nearly everything these days, and the peptide world strikes me as the number 1 place they'd target, given what it could do for people's lives. Getting a grip on the sheer volume of information is daunting at the start, yet unavoidable. reddit discussions led me to this forum and what I've read so far has impressed me. Refreshing to find discussions and opinions built on data, rather than the “just take 20mg Reta, don't ask why because I don't know, but… read it somewhere on reddit, so its fact.” kind of forum.
ISR also fascinates me: why some people sail through the first weeks or a month with nothing, then suddenly develop ISR to particular peptides (GHK-cu, MOTS, etc..) badly enough that treatment has to stop. Others get ISR from day one and it fades within a few weeks or a month.
Could a single badly placed shot (technique, site…?) make your body turn against a peptide? What makes the immune system suddenly declare war? Is there anything that can be done to cut the risk of ISR, or remove it? And what are the options once ISR shows up weeks or a month into treatment?
Best of luck, all. Godspeed.
