Hey everyone,
Most of my research so far has been on Reddit, and someone there mentioned this forum, so I signed up since I've recently begun using reta.
Hoping to pick up tips and support while I work toward a healthier weight.
A bit of background:
No matter what I weighed, I've always been athletic — mountain biking, hiit, golf, badminton and hard training. Nutrition, though, has always been my weak point. Around 10 years ago I was roughly 125kg and dropped to 87kg over about 6-9 months using insanity workouts and p90x, but a few years after that I yoyoed back up.
So I'm just trying to get healthy once more.
My first reta dose was 1mg, purely to check tolerance, after that I stayed at 2mg for 3 weeks, and this week I took my first 5mg dose.
Things are going okay so far, but the problems I'd like advice on are:
Anyway, glad to be here and thanks for having me

A bit of background:
- Male, 40 years old, 5ft 6
- 118kg was my weight when I began reta
- 110kg as of today, 4 1/2 weeks in
- used to box as an amateur (back when I was younger)
- I coach boxing, have a family, and work as a data analyst (meaning I'm seated all day)

Things are going okay so far, but the problems I'd like advice on are:
- Getting more than 1100-1400 cals in is a struggle, while 1900 is my target for healthy loss.
- Finding the motivation and energy to train or exercise consistently is hard
- I have skin hypersensitivity and something like the body aches you get with a cold, but I'm coping.
Anyway, glad to be here and thanks for having me
