Hello from the Midwest!

After receiving a PMOS (PCOS) and pre-diabetes diagnosis, I've been taking semaglutide for more than a year. At first I stuck strictly to no sugar and low carb, and dropped 35lbs. Once I loosened up, I hit a long, stubborn plateau — roughly 6 months at the same weight — yet my waist measurement has been creeping down, which suggests I might be recomping? I'm considering a sema -> reta switch, but I want to get some lifestyle pieces (diet, activity levels) sorted first before jumping. Then again, maybe the switch itself would make those lifestyle changes easier to pull off? No idea how it'll play out.

Two weeks ago I began a KLOW cycle. So far, sleep quality and daytime energy have both gone up. I used to wake 3-4x per night; now it's 1-2x and falling back asleep is much simpler. My shoulders also take longer to ache from desk work. I'm hoping the copper will address the androgenic alopecia tied to my PMOS and help smooth out skin texture left by years of acne scarring.

Outside of a glp-1 and KLOW, I'm curious about sleep-focused peptides such as DISP to push my sleep further. Right now I need 8-11 hours in bed to wake up feeling rested and energetic. (Sleep study is incoming) That's really frustrating, and it happens even when I keep good sleep hygene. I'm eager to read up on how peps might improve my sleep quality.

I also suspect some kind of hypermobility condition, and I show many POTS symptoms. Neither has been professionally diagnosed, but I'll be watching for info on how peps interact with these conditions.

I'm here to learn how peps interact with eachother and how they might interact with my personal biology. I'm excited to learn what this community has to offer, and have already spent a couple hours scrolling threads. My favorite piece of info i've learned so far is that people with PMOS should not take growth factor increasing peps, as they will worsen PMOS symptoms.

Anyways, Happy Tuesday! Looking forward to getting to know this community!
