Yesterday I gave rowing everything I had, yet it got me nowhere — England came out on top. Fair and square? I wouldn't say so.

That said, no hard feelings. ...well, perhaps a tiny bit...

Anyway — hi everyone, I'm new around these forums! A Norwegian guy, 188cm, 97kg. My goal is to shed weight, and I'm ready to inject myself to get there. In the past I've dropped 15-20kg naturally on several occasions, but it always creeps back the moment I can't dedicate all my attention to it. Between a house we recently bought and a newborn, working out as much as I'd like simply isn't possible.

Right now I'm on Mounjaro, prescribed by my dr, and on top of that I'm taking a small amount of retatrutide on the side. Honestly, I think these drugs are fantastic. I've even persuaded my dad to bring it up with his doctor — he's spent 40 years trying to lose weight.

Beyond that: I'm into heavy metal, I enjoy strength training as well as running, I've been programming games as a hobby for as long as I can remember, and I'm a gamer. From Software's titles, Dark Souls and Elden Ring among them, are particular favorites of mine.

I'm looking forward to becoming part of this community.

Honestly, if that is any consolation, the bar I was in over on my side of the USA was packed and nobody there was pleased about that result either!

Good that your doctor backs you on the peptides, hopefully you will see great results before long. Best of luck to your dad as well! Congrats on the new baby, plenty of big life changes heading your way

Tesseract, Leprous, Ne Obliviscaris and Mycelia are all huge favourites of mine, plus plenty more besides! Catchy rhythms, orchestral elements, and a mix of clean and heavy vocals — that's what you get across those 4 bands. Leprous in particular covers a wide range of sounds. Give each of them a listen, and once you're done, come back and I'll have more recommendations for you!
