Hi everyone!
I’m so happy to be here ! I’m a 34 year old single mom of two boys. My youngest is special needs . So as you can imagine my health took a back seat after his birth to care for him and now that I’ve gotten to a place where I feel I’ve gotten a comfortable handle on life with my kids, I’m trying to finally trying to prioritize my own health. I started a weight loss journey almost 2 years ago and with the help of topiramate and phentermine combined with a very dedicated workout routine I was able to loose a total of 45 pounds however I have hit a plateau and I have not been able to loose any more weight . My goal was to loose a total 80, so I have only fallen 35 pounds short of my goal. My insurance refuses to cover any glp1 medications . That being said I have no experience with these types of medications. However , I recently learned about reta. My hopes are to educate myself as much as possible on this forum about Reta because in all honesty I don’t know very much.
So far this forum seems like a great place to start and I’m looking forward to being a part of a community of people on a similar path to a healthier version of themselves. !
