Hi all!

I started on a compounded tirz last October. I was a little nervous about it because my a1c was already good and actually hovering in the lower end of the range (4.3). I have some reactive hypoglycemia episodes and I heard some people had improvements on a GLP.

In April of last year, I fell and broke my foot and was in a cast for months. Being sedentary and being over 50 and perimenopausal wasn’t helping me. I ate well for the most part … mostly protein and veggies since I’m gluten and HFCS intolerant but I had a lot of food noise and just feel very inflamed.

I started at about 200 pounds (I’m 5 ft 5) and reached the 150s in May. The swelling and inflammation were gone but I felt tired. I saw my PCP and she tested me for H Pylori despite not having symptoms. Surprisingly, I tested positive and had to start a terrible few weeks of antibiotics. They messed with me BIG TIME. The inflammation returned and despite dropping more weight, all my clothes were tight. I had stopped the tirz but recently went back on it starting back over from a lower dose.

I have a history of metabolic dysfunction with postprandial hypoglycemia (reactive hypoglycemia). Zero Issues with Tirz.

Your gut microbiome is beyond messed up at this point. In my opinion, you need to research ways to correct your gut microbiome. A bad microbiome can increase systemic inflammation.

Akker, Lacto and Bifido. These are key gut bacteria for metabolic health. When the gut balance is off, people get many issues. One possibility is leaky gut syndrome which can lead to increased systemic inflammation and a surprising link to increased food intolerance.
