Hi everyone,

I'm a newcomer to this place, doing my best to pick up whatever I can. I'm located in Los Angeles. Posting or replying doesn't seem possible for me anywhere at the moment — hopefully this takes care of it. I've already placed an order with a provider found here, though going grey is a first for me, so I'm hoping it turns out fine and that I haven't been scammed. Cheers.
 
Welcome aboard! Good to see you found your way here. Things often seem a bit awkward at the start for newcomers who are still working out how to post, though it tends to get easier after your account has some time to settle. I'm new as well.

Feeling some nerves on your initial grey‑market purchase is understandable — mine was just a couple weeks back and it still hasn't shown up. So I know that whole “please don't let this be a scam” feeling. Fingers crossed it all goes well for you.

What pushed you to finally give a grey a shot for the first time
 
That's pretty much where I'm at too! I placed an order for peptides and I'm really on edge about it! Gridinsoft.com gives them a mixed verdict — "trusted but verify" at 60/100 — and the domain is brand new. I was hunting for a reliable manufacturer, and I came across them rated on a testing site with really strong testing scores. Back in November I began with reta, found a single-vial seller based in the US, but it didn't take long to figure out that route was burning a hole in my pocket! I was surprised they had a website and it looked legit. If nothing shows up in about 2 weeks, then I'll assume I got ripped off.

ugh, that's rough -- my sympathies. Since I'm also new, I can't get into sourcing talk just yet, but hopefully it's fine to mention that going with vendors this forum recommends feels like the less risky route. I say that without any firsthand experience, as I haven't yet bought from anyone here, though I'm planning to dip a toe in today by placing a modest trial order. Wishing you far better results next time!

Yep, a scammer pretending to be the actual vendor pulled it off, and they even ran a website (the genuine vendor does have a site, but this wasn't it—I've since seen the real one). Over on the real vendor's telegram, they had a discussion, and quite a few people ended up getting scammed. My loss was $200, so not as severe as what some others went through. For some reason, I'm unable to reply or ask questions in any other section except this one.

That's rough—I know how unpleasant that is. Like the other member said, looking into things here on this site might give you a bit more peace of mind about the vendors. That said, nothing is ever 100%.
