Hey everyone. 35-year-old guy here. I haven't been around this space very long. Still on the younger side, though life has thrown plenty at me already. I've fractured a lot of bones, never needed plates. 11 operations on my knees. 2 on my hands, a 10 level fusion through my mid to lower back, 2 gunshot wounds, 1 in each leg. Plenty of cuts and soft tissue damage, but the worst was a finger getting degloved. I'm exploring peptides hoping they might aid with nerve damage left by my latest back surgery (it cost me my career), support recovery, and help me avoid putting on weight since working out is difficult at the moment. Maybe they could assist with hormones too. I'm tapering down from painkillers, and those clearly affect the pituitary gland.

I'll stop talking now. If anyone has suggestions or advice, I'd appreciate hearing them.

Glad you're here! This is a strong spot to pick up information — there's a lot to work through, and the search bar is going to be your friend. Wishing you well on the way!

older gentleman checking in (59), 8 fractures to my name plus skin grafts covering both legs. From my own experience, dropping pounds on tirz has made just about every aspect of my life better, aside from a bout of gastritis that came from slower stomach emptying. Standing at exactly 6 feet, I started at 270lbs and am down to 218. My lab results have shown major improvement, my sleep quality is up, and other areas are falling into place favorably too. Hope that's useful somehow, and this place has plenty of solid tips and knowledge to offer.

Standing at 6’ and weighing 205, my target is 185. Reta is what I’m on at the moment. Gastritis is something else I contend with, though the medication I’ve been prescribed has made a difference. Sleep quality has been poor, honestly. I’m not ready to start injecting additional peptides just for that, even though I’m aware there’s one that may assist. Before deciding anything, I plan to read extensively here. Appreciate the feedback and your time.

For sleep, my doctor prescribed trazodone, and it has helped a lot.
