Hey everyone, I'm Matt, 47 and living in New Zealand. My weight-loss journey is running on Mounjaro right now and the early stretch has gone really well. Alongside it I've cleaned up my diet a lot, upped the protein and stayed active, especially with golf.
What I care about is overall health rather than a number on the scales — dropping fat while holding or building muscle, getting fitter, and keeping an eye on blood pressure and general health markers.
I've also found myself drawn into the science behind GLP-1s and peptides, including some of the newer compounds under research. I'm here mainly to learn from other people's experiences, share my own progress and sort the useful information from the hype.
