Hi everybody! I've been looking into peptides for over a month now, mainly through reading studies, reading about other people's experiences, and doing deep dives into internet wormholes. I'm not usually the type of person who posts on forums, but this seems like a great community to engage with while I start/continue my peptide journey.

I'm 44 M, currently living in San Francisco, CA. Current weight: 210lbs, height 5'-5". I have been overweight most of my life, with high blood pressure and high cholesterol (HBP and cholesterol run in the family, and I'm on medications for these). Because of my weight, my doctors have always classified me as pre-diabetic. I got into a big fitness era in my mid-30's, and I was able to drop to a weight that I felt really empowered at (160lbs at my lowest). During that time, I also lifted a lot and, gained a lot of muscle, and was generally super happy with my body and my progress. I was even able to get off blood pressure and cholesterol meds (with oversight by my doctor).

I ended up moving away to start a grad school program shortly after this time period. Moving away from a gym that I felt a lot of community with, combined with the pandemic starting a year and a half later, really stalled me and set the stage for me to fall off the fitness wagon. I continued to eat very mindfully and go to a gym that I wasn't too inspired by during grad school, but I also started drinking much more alcohol during and after the pandemic.

Fast forward 8 years, and I'm back to exactly where I started before I lost all of the weight in the first place. I haven't really gotten my alcohol use in check, and I know that all those calories have contributed a lot to my weight re-gain. In addition, I got married, I got really busy with work, and I moved this past year and haven't re-joined a gym. I took my BP reading today, and it was elevated, even with the medications (I did eventually have to go back on them as I gained back the weight). Enough is enough. I'm not getting any younger, and I have to get my life back together!

I've been really inspired by so many people's stories on this forum and on reddit, etc. Everything from weight loss (obviously), to lowered BP, to people being able to free their minds from the hold that their vices have on them. I took my first 1mg dose of reta yesterday, and I plan to stack GHK-Cu soon. Today, I'm meal prepping some high-protein, clean whole foods to get my diet back on track. I'm checking out a neighborhood gym this week so I can start lifting again soon.

I'm so grateful that this community exists, and I hope to be able to share a success story here one day!

You might consider stacking Tesa with the Reta, I started out with it, but been seeing great results after 5 weeks.

I'm so happy to hear that you've been having great results after only 5 weeks! I haven't done much research about Tesa, but I'm very open to looking further into it. If you care to share your own experience, what benefits have you seen by stacking Tesa alongside Reta? To be honest, one of my main goals for researching peptides is to see if I can quiet my brain around my desire to drink. The weight loss is a secondary (but still very important) goal. I appreciate if you want to share, but I will also do more research on my own about Tesa.

Welcome. You’re going to love Reta. Also look into tesamorelin and ipa. You’ll gain some water weight and think Reta isn’t working but your gym

Recovery will be awesome. And then when the water weight stops you’ll start shedding weight quickly again

I started out stacking with Tesa, so can not really say what life is like without it, but the thing I have noticed over my friends that are just doing Reta, is that they are still loosing some muscle mass on Reta alone. I also noticed my waist is shrinking faster than theirs, even though our weight loss is about the same.

Tesa is designed to trigger your body to create more HGH, but also been show and whats its FDA approved for is to release the internal fat easier. I take my Reta Sat night right before bed to minimize side effects over the weekend and then I take Tesa every morning M-F. The reason being you are suppose to take Tesa on a completely empty stomach and I drink a protein shake everynight to help with taking my nightly blood pressure and suppliement pills.

Most people say if you can Tesa at night, you will sleep better, but I havent tested that.

Thanks for your recommendation! So much to learn about these other peptides. Looks like reta will be a gateway for me.

Awesome! I appreciate you sharing your dosage for both. Doing some research about it now. Good luck on your journey, too!
