Hi All,

Oddly enough, after stumbling on this forum a few weeks back, it has ended up eating a massive chunk of my spare time — I bet plenty of you can relate — so I figured today was the day to join up and jump in.

Picking up loads from just reading along, and it's clear I've barely dipped a toe in. Can't wait to go further.

Appreciate the welcome, and for pulling me away from the 19th UK heatwave of the year.

Best of luck, dude

Honestly, I'm feeling a little swamped here, and I was hoping to find someone to kick off this research journey alongside me — would you be up for that?

Hello. I’m new around here as well. I’ve been browsing a little at a time, learning how the forum operates and what’s posted in it. It’s hot in the US too lol

Cheers mate, absolutely, count me in! Searching online is seriously a lot to take in. How did I not find this place years back.

i've already given it a go, began reta @ 1mg/week and took my 2nd dose yesterday.

Absolutely stunned by how effective it is, food noise has been my enemy for years!

I've just picked up an aircon unit, so that means there definitely won't be another one again!

Glad to have you here, and I'm eager to see what you'll bring to the discussions.

My own approach was to introduce reta gradually alongside tirz, and then I tapered tirz off. I began at a very small dose (.5) and increased steadily until I reached 2. The step up from 2 to 4 turned out to be the first genuine obstacle on my GLP1 journey. Nothing beyond the usual GI side effects, but since I hadn't experienced them earlier, . . . I will never take 4 again lol.

May things go smoothly for you. Well done for beginning low (and keeping it there).

I really appreciate it. When I woke up the day after taking my first dose, I was amazed that 1mg was already having an effect.

Based on what I've read on this forum, reta tends to hit harder when it's your first GLP - so that makes sense!
