Hi everyone,
Let me take a moment to say hello properly. Around here I'll be posting under the name Flora.
My GLP 1 use goes back roughly a year, and truthfully it changed my life. The first route was monthly doses from a company called Ro — the one you've probably seen advertised all over your tv, with Serena Williams fronting it. Problem was the roughly $350 a month, which was way beyond what I could afford. I stuck with it around 3 months, then went hunting for cheaper alternatives. A post on Reddit asking for help got me pointed toward this forum, and that's how I came across the vendor I've been buying from for the last year — except right now things aren't exactly smooth sailing.
Becoming slim is what I want more than anything. I've been heavy for most of my life and I simply want to love my own body. I want to wear whatever I like, show skin without feeling ashamed, and be healthy. Every weight loss attempt I've made has failed: I'd drop 5lbs, put it right back on, over and over in an endless loop.
Semaglutide came first — about 20 lbs down, then a plateau. No further progress, even with eating very little. So I ordered tirzepatide plus a low dose of retraglutide; it shipped, but somebody stole it before it reached me. A second order went in with the same vendor, and my package has been outstanding since march 17. My read is the vendor is stringing me along — the replies keep coming back “wait, it's in customs, I'll hear an update soon,” and these days I'm simply being ghosted.
As I mentioned, this forum has been part of my routine for a while, I just never took the trouble to register. It taught me a great deal about GLP1, peptides, dosing, reconstitution and more. I'm genuinely thankful — and now I'm hunting for a vendor I can trust to buy Tirz from. My last semi dose was over a month ago, and my cravings have gone completely off the rails; I'll eat literally anything and everything I lay eyes on. So I need a solution, and soon. I did try my insurance, but they want around $1,000 a month out of me, which is flat-out insane.
Beyond all that, my reasons for being here are to lose weight and keep expanding what I know about GLP1. Excited to meet you all!!
