Forums are new to me, so please be nice. Hopefully I've got the rules straight and won't make too many boo boos!
Australia is where I am.
5ft 2, sitting at 71kg at the moment, with another 10-15kg I'd like to loose.
Mounjaro has been on and off for maybe 2 years. 88kg is where I began. 20kg came off, averaging 1kg loss a week, until the plateau arrived. By then I'd gone up to the 7.5mg dose.
A break came at 68kg, but my appetite started coming back and the weight piled on quickly.
After a wee break I started up again, only as far as the 5mg dose (splitting a 10mg pen), since it's costing me so much, hence why I'm here.
Switching over to Retatrutide and giving that a go is what I want now.
Major surgery is coming up in 3mths time, so I may have to wait until after that. For DIEP flap reconstruction after double Mastectomy (flat) I need to keep as much stomach fat as I can. Essentially all my lower stomach (tummy tuck, kinda) moves up to my chest to recreate new breasts. Recovery for me is a big stretch of up to 3mths.
Right now the focus is fitness and core work without dropping too much more weight.
Perimenopausal here, and it feels like the same 5kg goes and comes back over and over.
