Glad to be part of this fresh community. Lately I’ve developed a curiosity about peptide therapy, and it has completely grabbed the biology itch inside me 🤓

I’m a late-30s new dad living in Texas. On semaglutide I dropped roughly 20 lbs last year, then regained every bit of it once I stopped the compound. I hit 190, but now I’m back at 220 lbs. Getting to 170 lbs would be great, though my first target is below 200, then below 190 — that would be the first time since my teens

This year I’m aiming to be proactive about my health and put my time toward becoming the best physical version of myself for my son. I want to run around with him at sports practices and take him hiking, swimming, and exploring well into my 50s and 60s. I know it’s possible, I just need to dig deep and find the discipline. My hope is that peptide therapy keeps me engaged daily in managing my health and hopefully gives me some ‘quick wins’ that help me stay committed to a healthier lifestyle.

Thanks for reading. Feel free to say high if you wanna talk sports, outdoor pursuits, DnD, board gaming, or fantasy & Sci-fi books

Cheers folks 🍻

For the next 3 months, my entire focus is on 100% diet and activity. My GP has me starting Triz while labs get monitored. I'm doing IF/OMAD, keeping intake near 1600 calls, and my RMR is around 1900. Once I begin weekly weight lifting, I'll raise it closer to 1800.

Honestly, what draws me to peptides is the biology side. Sure, the benefits are intriguing, but I'm simply having a good time researching and learning about the various amino chains that scientist are currently researching

It makes me really glad to find a fellow parent who wants to improve their health for the sake of their children! That matters so much. Wishing you joy with your new baby 🫶
