Hey hey! I'm a 40-something f from Chicago. Honestly I'm terrible at showing up on social media or forums — always been a lurker — but I'll try to pitch in here. A year and half on tirz has taken 65 lbs off me. About 30 more to go, and I’m eyeing a switch to Reta, though I'm not 100% decided. Truth is it's the best thing I've ever done, and I'm a little salty it took this long to get access to something like it. Physically, this is the best I’ve ever felt: inflammation gone, sleeping like a baby! And the weight loss obviously is a dream come true. I finally like how I look, which has been wonderful for my mental health. I’m sure plenty of you can relate. Anyhoo, happy Tuesday!
 
Hello there! I’m another female in her 40s, and I’m moving over to reta too. Sema was my first for a year, then I spent a year on tirz, but after 5 straight weeks of feeling ill the day following each shot, I chose to pause for 3 months. One reason was a surgery coming up, and I couldn’t afford to be sick while healing. My initial reta injection was last week, and things have been fine so far. Personally, I still have roughly 20 lbs left to lose (I put a fair amount back on after the operation and my tirz break). Wishing you all the best as you continue!

What has Tirz been like for you so far? I haven't begun taking anything yet, though I want to work hard at getting rid of some stomach fat.

Why did you go with Tirz instead of Reta when you were first starting out?
