Hi everyone, I've worked as a massage therapist for 20 years and my BS is in Human Biology. For a few years, clients have been telling me about peptides and GLP-1s directly, so I checked out a few podcasts on the glp1s and looked into things myself. The first thing that made me think "I wish I knew about this sooner" was BPC-157, since over the last handful of years I've had a couple torn tendons along with a lot of inflammation. A few months back, my wellness clinic gave me prescriptions for sermoreline and testosterone (after several rounds of pellets for perimenopause that I really didn't like, I'd been trying to get on trt injections) and I finally went ahead and got the scripts filled. They also offered an oral BPC-157, but I wasn't sure about trying it because what I've heard more about is injectible forms, which my clinic doesn't carry. In the meantime, my son was diagnosed with leukemia in October, and as you can imagine, it's been extremely overwhelming and stressful. My mental health has taken a hit and the struggle is real. With injuries, stress, and depression combined, I've hit a new low, (who knew the rut got deeper?) or maybe I should say high, on the scale. So when I was pulling the trigger on the serm and trt, I also decided to ask for a script for Tirz. Instant game changer. I actually started the Tirz first. Wow, what a difference it made, especially with the food noise and just grazing in general. I'm 5 weeks in and down a few pounds already. I've noticed a lot of talk about the "glp forum" on another site, but only today did I realize it was its own site, so here I am! I hope to find a supportive community and learn more about people's experiences. Personally, I like going down the rabbit hole and learning how things work on the cellular level, but also how that plays out in real life, too - so like, the science and the anecdotes. There's a bunch of stuff I don't know and I'm here to learn.
