. Hey everybody! Jessica here, and I'm really glad to have found this space. I'm 26, served in the Army, raising a super active 4-year-old, and right now I'm wrapping up my degree while balancing family, school, and everything else. Weight and metabolic health have been a long-running battle for me, just like they are for many others. Stress, pregnancy, military life, and now the daily craziness of being both a student and a parent — my body has been through a lot of phases. After watching how much GLP-1 medications have assisted people with weight loss and blood sugar regulation, I began looking into them. The part that grabbed my attention wasn't only the weight loss, but how people talk about better appetite control, fewer cravings, and improved metabolic health overall. I've done a lot of reading on research and personal stories, and I'm hoping to pick up even more here from folks who've actually been through it.

My goals are pretty simple:

• improve my health long-ter

• develop better habits around food and lifestyle

• understand how GLP-1s work and how people use them successfully

Over the years I've attempted many traditional weight loss methods. A few worked for a while, others didn't last, and some simply didn't fit my lifestyle. These days I'm focused on sustainability and learning from people on the same path. Beyond that, my world is mostly school, parenting, and chasing after my two enormous dogs. I'm also planning to apply to law school in the next year, so anything that helps me feel healthier and more focused is a big win. I'm looking forward to learning from everyone here and hearing about your experiences. Thanks for having me!

Hey Jessica — I appreciate you being part of this and for serving. It's obvious you've shouldered quite a bit, and continuing to move ahead with your studies, raising a child, and getting ready for law school really speaks to your determination. Seems like you're handling your health with that same calm, deliberate approach, and that's already a big part of the work.

A lot of folks look into GLP‑1s for the very things you brought up — not only pounds, but how hunger, urges, and general metabolic regulation can change. Picking up wisdom from actual journeys while keeping yourself anchored in reliable information is a wise path.

This is a good spot to dig into all of that. Happy you're here, and I can't wait to see where things go for you. Welcome!
