I’m 28, and I started Tz in early December 2025. My insurance stopped covering it since I’m no longer “overweight,” but in my case, staying on a maintenance dose of Tz seems like the best approach given my past thyroid problems, eating disorders, and years of obesity.

I’m also interested in trying other peptides, such as Klow or Glow.

Hello, and welcome — this is definitely a hard spot to be in, though plenty of others have faced it too.

Once you're told you're “no longer overweight,” coverage stops, and that approach ignores your medical background — which is a big deal for someone in your shoes. Staying on a low maintenance dose to keep everything steady, particularly given thyroid + ED history, is a goal a lot of members here understand.

The toughest part — shedding the weight — is behind you. Keeping it off brings its own set of obstacles, and planning ahead the way you are shows good sense.

Regarding KLOW/GLOW and similar options, reports vary — certain folks find them helpful for skin/hair, while others see little change. These tend to fall under “supportive” rather than doing anything to weight or appetite the way Tz does.

It seems you have a solid grasp of what suits your body. Happy you joined — there's plenty of helpful conversation about maintenance approaches in this community. 💪
