Hey all! Discovering this community has made me really glad, since I want to gain knowledge about peptides - with Retatrutide being my main interest.

Right now I'm taking Tirzepatide, and it's been exactly 1 year since I began. My current dose sits at 7.5mg, and thanks to this miracle drug I've managed to drop 15kg, going from 90kg down to 75kg (1m76cm, roughly 5'9"). I suspect a decent portion of that loss came from muscle, because I can no longer lift the weights I once could (though I do make sure to get enough protein). Still, I'm fine with that, as I believe my strength can come back once I move to maintenance eating.

Sadly, Tirz has grown too costly, which means I'll have to quit it before long. Even though my BMI is now in a healthy range, I know very well that research frequently indicates a rebound when people stop this medication. My body is at last looking and feeling improved, and regaining weight is something I truly want to avoid. Reta looks like an excellent option to keep going on my path, and I'm here to learn about both its benefits and its dangers.

Welcome!

Switching from Tirz to Reta should work out well for you. Sadly, dropping a lot of weight can take a toll on your muscles. My advice, then, is to begin at a low dose and tweak it as you go. The right dose for you will become clear.

Starting high brings the danger of skin that is loose or sagging. A lower dose, by contrast, gives your skin time to adapt.

For a male, I'd recommend pairing TRT with the Reta. That way you keep muscle and add more.

Plenty of well-informed people are around here, so if anything leaves you unsure, just ask.

Thanks for getting back to me! I'm female, though I've come across claims that trt can also do amazing things for women. I'll make an effort to look into every possibility available here on the forum.

Hello. I'm new to this place as well. Because of the expense, I've been using Mounjaro intermittently. I began at 88kg, and I'm 5ft 2. I'm down to 71kg now, with another 10-15kg I'd like to shed. I'm also considering getting started on Retatrutide and tracking it down. There's so much to research!!!!! I stumbled on this forum and it seems I might have located it 🙂
