Hey all,

Joining this space to pick up knowledge on GLP-1s and peptides broadly. Fitness is a big part of my life — I lift and I run frequently. Still, reaching the weight I want for racing has been a real challenge, so I'm getting a bit of help with that. I gave Reta a shot for some time, and oddly my body doesn't seem to react much to it (and that was my very first GLP-1 experience). In the beginning there was a noticeable effect, but before long it felt like it barely did anything, even when the dose went up. As of now I've switched over to tirz and I'm curious whether it will do a better job, particularly for keeping appetite in check — that's the hardest part for me. I've already been reading quite a bit around here, which has been really helpful. Excited to keep going.

Adding a question to my own post; after a few weeks, has Reta stopped working as well for anyone else? My body fat is already fairly low, around 10%, and I’m muscular. Still, I’m unsure whether that would affect how well it works. Any thoughts?

Based on what I have gone through personally, I have used reta for roughly 7 weeks. During the initial 2 weeks my dose was 1mg, after which my appetite became quite difficult to manage, so the amount was raised to 2mg. That worked really well until the past week. Last night, when I injected, I moved the dose up to 3mg. As for your question: indeed, I have seen its effectiveness fade after several weeks, though a modest bump in dosage has allowed me to keep going.
