Hi, after lurking around for about 2 weeks while researching Grey, I'm keen to begin — and there's so much more to learn!

37 Y/O M. I've been on M pens for some time, though I've been stepping my dose back down. Right now I'm at 5mg, progress has plateaued, and I'd like to shed a bit more weight. With costs being so outrageous these days, it's time to fully embrace the slightly darker side 🙂

Hey, another person from the UK here 🙂

Buying Tirzepatide on the grey market saves an unbelievable amount of money next to the outrageous prices we're charged for Mounjaro here in the UK. Really glad I came across this forum 🙂

I spent 14 months on Mounjaro and dropped a lot of weight, but once I hit the top dose it began to lose its effect. Food noise and binge eating are my biggest problems, so when the appetite suppression faded I noticed it badly. My guess is my body simply adjusted to Mounjaro over time. After that I moved to Retatrutide for a few months, and it was completely useless for me — Reta's appetite suppression is nowhere close to Tirz's, and I actually gained weight while on it. Once I did some reading I learned that stacking Tirz with Reta tends to work well. These days I take the highest Tirz dose on a Sunday, then a small Reta dose on Thursday, and that combination is going well.

If Tirz is doing the job for you, I'd really suggest you stay on Tirz, since its appetite suppression is stronger than Reta's. I also noticed far better anti-inflammatory effects with it than with Reta. If you've stalled, raise your Tirz dose again until you land on one that suits you.

Grey market prices are so small next to what a pharmacy charges for Mounjaro that there's no pressure to stretch your dose, and no guilt about using the dose that actually works instead of the smallest one just to make the pen last and save cash.

I realise Reta is what everyone's talking about right now, but I'm honestly not a fan. If Tirz is working, stay with Tirz.

Wishing you all the best on your journey 🙂

Cheers for the info! I reckon I'll end up going down a similar road — bump the Tirz dose up a touch and maybe throw in a bit of Reta too. For R, what would you say is a good starting dose? 1mg?

On the subject of food noise, before I touched any of this stuff I honestly assumed it was all nonsense, that there was no way it could have that kind of effect.... Well, I was way off. Ever since I dropped the doses back down it's been hanging around more, and I do miss that feeling of food not being my number 1 thought.

There's been a niggling shoulder problem for a while now and I want to get back in the gym, both to push the weight loss along and to tone up and build strength. I'm having a look at what peps might assist with recovery / injury, plus general energy / clarity — I think NAD might cover the second part. Any thoughts on those would be appreciated 🙂

If your shoulder problem is what I think it might be, a BPC157+TB500 combo—often sold already mixed together—could be worth trying.

I use BPC+TB myself, and my gym recovery is wayyy quicker because of it. That said, it won't do anything for the 4 discs in my back that an MRI showed I wrecked at the gym 2wks ago.
