Hey all, my reason for getting into reta was to shift some visceral and belly fat, hoping it would assist with my diabetes. Historically, dropping weight for me meant grinding through a lot of effort and struggle. I did eventually get there since my diabetes forced the issue. Truthfully I'm not really overweight, though there's some belly fat I wouldn't mind shedding.
Once I realised how effective reta was, my curiosity went to the rest of the peptide world. There are so many peptides out there, it felt like being a kid let loose in a sweet shop.
Then I ended up with a few deep cat scratches that got infected with cellulitis. As a diabetic, wounds healing slowly is a constant battle for me. These scratches were painful enough to wake me from sleep and had turned wide and red. I thought GHK-cu might do the trick and got some ordered straight away. Within a couple of days of using it, the pain from the scratches disappeared, then the redness settled down to something closer to normal, and across the past 2 weeks they've genuinely been recovering.
Normally I'd have put that down to coincidence, but my legs carry plenty of "scars" sitting beneath the skin's surface, left over from old scrapes and cuts from work, cats, or whatever else. Those tend to stick around for a looong time before fading. There's a cat scratch I can recall from months back that's still a dark line on my skin. These new scratches, though, seem like they'll close up quickly enough that my skin will simply look normal, rather than leaving those under-the-surface marks hanging around for a year.
What else convinced me GHK-cu is powerful is that those old scars I mentioned are clearing up too! They're fading. It honestly feels like magic. It's a bit of a shame that slow healing wounds have been something i've dealt with for so long, I wish I knew about this earlier.
So now, naturally, i'm working my way through the rest of the "candy store". I've given some other peptides a go, some didn't work, some did, and there are many more lined up ahead to try. In the meantime i'm enjoying reading all your posts.
