Hey y’all!
I’ve been a member here for roughly a month, but only now am I actually starting to participate. Digging into the science behind things has always appealed to me more than simply taking marketing claims or social media opinions at face value, and I thought this would be an excellent spot to learn.
By profession I’m a critical care RN, and right now I work in post-anesthesia recovery (PACU). Wanting to know the why behind everything is just how my brain works, so it’s no surprise that peptides pulled me into yet another research rabbit hole.
The reason I joined is that I want to learn from folks who care about evidence, thoughtful discussion, and responsible experimentation. Peptides tied to recovery, skin health, and healthy aging are what interest me at the moment. Understanding mechanisms, dosing strategies, safety considerations, and how other people read the available research is something I’m particularly keen on.
When I’m not at work, I collect plants, like taking on DIY projects, and use most of my free time either researching something new or hanging out with my daughter.
Reading, learning, and hopefully adding something useful where I can is what I’m looking forward to. Thanks for having me!
P.S. From a PACU nurse: Please tell your anesthesiologist if you’re taking a GLP medication… trust me.
