Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well!

I'm a bloke in his mid 30s living in Wales.

I got started on Mounjaro back when it first got approved in the UK a few years ago, and I dropped 45lbs.

After I stopped taking it, I regained 30lbs across 2 years, so I decided to try some grey sema and shed 15lbs.

I wanted to go back to mounjaro, but with the price hikes lately it just didn't seem worth it, so I recently got my grey Reta order and pinned 1mg for the first time on Thursday, then another 1mg today.

What surprised me is that I haven't felt any suppression, since with mounjaro I felt suppression the very next day even at the lowest dose.

This may sound odd, but my sugar cravings have gone through the roof!

Anyway, happy to be here 😁

Welcome

I'm in the same boat—new around here and based in the UK too. I began mounjaro last year, but the expense became too much for me to manage, particularly as the dose increased. I still haven't committed to purchasing reta; I'm continuing to research everything, especially anything related to crypto.

Hey Nicky, when you first start Reta, the appetite suppression won't match what Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) gives you, and it may stay fairly mild until your dose goes higher (a few people do feel it right away, but plenty don't). If suppression is a problem, one route is to run it alongside Tirz, which is what I'm doing right now. I 'was' taking 7.5mg of Mounjaro with no appetite problems, and these days I take 2.5mg of Tirz plus 4mg of Reta each week, with appetite staying fine. When I attempted to switch cold turkey directly to Reta, the food noise returned, so I put the small Tirz dose back in and everything settled down.

Appreciate the guidance, mrmors!

Others have mentioned the same issue — Reta doesn't seem to curb appetite much, and you need to climb to a higher dose before anything kicks in.

At one point I figured I'd ended up with a dodgy batch, but my partner took 1mg and can barely manage a couple of eggs.

Right now I'm partway through putting in an order for Cagri.

Should that not work out, trying Tirz is next on my list for sure!

Any experience with Cagri on your end?

Haven't touched Cagri myself. Everything I read on here and in other corners suggested it's more of a coin toss when it comes to appetite suppression, whereas Tirz pretty much always delivers on that front.

As for your other half, that pattern is pretty normal — my wife feels the sides far more sharply than I do, most likely because I'm built like a small hill. Last night she jumped her Mounjaro pen from 5mg straight up to 7.5mg, because the appetite suppression had vanished completely, and today she's flat on her back. I offered her some of my Reta, or my Tirz, both brand new, sat in the fridge, but she chose the Mounjaro pen that's been in there for 3 months.....

That's reasonable, I want to give cagri a go just to check whether that additional receptor does much for me, and if it doesn't, then tirz is without a doubt my final option haha.

Good on your missus, I recall once using a pen I'd forgotten about and spent 2 days unable to leave the toilet.

If you don't mind me asking, how has your weight loss gone?

I did 6months of Mounjaro, and the weight came off at a pretty steady 1-2lb per week, going from 120kg down to 100kg. Since then I've hit a hard wall and it's got me stumped, genuinely strange. My calories are in a deficit, protein intake is high enough, I lift 5x per week and run 2x per week. That's why I've added Reta along with some other peptides, hoping it gets things moving again. My clothes keep not fitting me these days, which is a real PITA, but how I feel and what I'm able to do probably matters more to me than whatever number shows up on the scales - losing those 20kg changed a lot, and I'm not far off from the weight I'd like to land at.

Nice one, mate — sounds like you’re doing brilliantly!

Is it okay for us to talk about where we source our stuff? Every thread seems to have its own set of rules when it comes to mentioning sellers lol

For someone just starting out, would you suggest combining tirz and reta — specifically 2.5mg of tirz alongside 1mg of reta? The goal is mostly to get reta's advantages while keeping tirz's appetite-quieting effect.

What's allowed and what isn't is a bit unclear to me. My guess is the main goal is to keep brand-new accounts from flooding the board with endless "where can I buy cheap peptides from" posts, over and over, every single day.

I can't think of a reason that would be an issue. Also, since each of the two compounds has a half life of just 5-6 days, should combining them not work out for you, you can simply discontinue one or both and wait for it to leave your system.

Yes I do, although plenty of folks advise against it.

Last week I brought Tirz back in and cut my reta dose in half.

My current schedule is 2.5mg Tirz each Monday, plus 3mg Reta on Thursday.

To get appetite suppression I had titrated my Reta up as high as 8mg, but the sides weren't pleasant, so I began titrating it back down.
